Founder,
Donnie Moore, a former college quarterback, has first-hand knowledge
of the pressures and challenges the youth of today face. Donnie had
his own battle with steroids--a battle that almost cost him his life.
Today his message addresses drug use, as well as some of the deeper
causes of abuse. "Many times we perform to be accepted,”
Moore will tell his listeners, as he challenges them to value themselves
for who they are and not just what they can do. Radical Reality speaks
to junior high, high school, and college students, as well as professional
athletes. Their message is timely and relevant to the needs of this
generation, and includes both a humorous and hard-hitting approach.
Radical Reality has gained the attention and respect of teenage audiences
wherever they appear. Radical Reality's programs include an award-winning
high school assembly, which is seen by more than 200,000 students
each year. In addition, Radical Reality sponsors three different youth
camps, attracting more than 1,200 teenagers combined each year, many
of which are from the inner cities of Northern California.
Radical Reality has received numerous awards for
its programs and assemblies, including the highest recommendation
from the Governor's Policy Council on Drug and Alcohol Abuse, California
Youth Authority Director's Award for Delinquency Prevention, Outstanding
Program of the Year from the San Joaquin County Juvenile Justice
Delinquency Prevention Commission, Recognition in the field of Delinquency
Prevention from San Joaquin County, Recognition from the California
State Senate, as well as many certificates of thanks and appreciation
from the individual schools they have visited over the years.
Donnie
Moore, Director of Radical Reality, has dedicated his life to the
lives of the Youth of America. He motivates and inspires, and his
message deals with real-life matters of the heart. His hard-hitting
approach, as well as his sincerity has made him a favorite motivational
speaker among professional athletes. He has won endorsements from
many, such as: 1998 World Series MVP Scott Brosius, Ken Griffey
Jr., Mark McGuire, Roger Clemens, Randy Johnson, Eric Chavez, and
Dave Justice. Each year he has the opportunity to speak to every
team in the American League, and is a favorite of the Oakland A's.
Whether standing in a locker room full of professional athletes,
or in the midst of thousands of students in a high school assembly,
Donnie brings a message of destiny, challenge, and hope. This message
motivates, impacts, and changes the lives of those who hear it.
